Fibaro - Wall Plug

Smart plug that lets you control what you plug into it completely wirelessly via Z-wave. Connect an element, lamp or something else you want to be able to switch on / off remotely. Fibaros smartplug also has a built-in electricity meter that measures the consumption of what is connected in the outlet.

Fibaro Wall Plug + Tibber

With a smart plug you can easily control on/off of the device you have chosen to connect to, eg control an element with plug and switch it on when the temperature in the house drops. Fibaro's smartplug is so small that it does not block the power socket next to it, which makes it possible to have two smartplugs next to each other.

Fibaro Wall Plug is grounded and has a built-in meter that shows the consumption of the device connected in it in real time. Around the outlet there is an LED ring that changes color after the load, it can be switched off if desired. The socket is controlled via the app to your smarthub (must have support for Z-wave), manually on the button on the socket or via the Tibber app (for heat control). Max load 2500 W.

Thermostat

If you have your smart plug connected to a smart hub and a temperature sensor, the connector can be used as a thermostat. The feature is supported by the Futurehome.

Sensor data

The smart plug becomes available as a sensor on the home screen and displays the power consumption from the plug.

Installation

Fibaro Wall Plug uses Z-Wave (868.42MHz) to communicate. That is, you need a smart hub that supports that type of communication. It can be Futurehome or Homey.

If you have a hub with support for Z-wave, the installation is done in seconds. Put your hub in "learning mode", put the Fibaro Wall Plug in a free wall outlet and press the button 3 times. When you do, a signal is sent to your hub and your smart plug is now connected.
